Changelog - v2.0

Complete rebuild with Notion-native UI redesign, faster page loads and processing, improved reliability under load, and new sign-in and billing flows
Changelog - v2.0

This release is a rebuild. Not a polish pass. The goal was simple: make Notion Finance Tracker feel like it belongs inside Notion, while being faster and way more reliable when your setup gets big (more databases, more rows, more currencies, more everything).

✨ New

  • A more “Notion-like” UI: Embeds, reports, and the app UI have been redesigned to match Notion’s vibe more closely. Cleaner, calmer, less “web app energy”.
  • New sign-in flow + permissions foundation: Authentication and authorization have been rebuilt so the app can support richer account features (and admin tooling) without getting messy.
  • New billing and purchase flows: Checkout, post-checkout, and billing management have been reworked for a smoother experience.

🛠️ Improved

  • Speed everywhere: Faster page loads, faster report rendering, faster syncing and processing. You’ll feel it most if your Notion template has a lot of transactions, categories, or multi-currency data.
  • Reliability under load: Background processing and server-side utilities were rebuilt with edge runtime constraints in mind, so processing is more predictable and less fragile.
  • Navigation and settings: The app’s structure is now more coherent. Fewer dead ends, clearer flows, and settings that are easier to reason about.

🐛 Fixed

  • Embed/report edge cases: A bunch of “this looks off” issues in embedded reports were fixed, especially around rendering and data ordering.
  • Data correctness issues: Fixes across sorting, validation, and a few calculation edge cases that could show weird results in specific setups.
  • Many many more minor fixes and improvements.
